“Nie-Rzeczywistość” the Strike News Bulletin of the students of the Higher Teacher Training College in Siedlce

The author analyses 9 issues of the bulletin published during 24 days of the students’ strike in 1981. He presents the causes of the strike, its action, the involvement of the students in Siedlce and the situation at other universities across the country. The text also reveals manners and forms concerning provision of information during the strike, the position of Strike Committees, state authorities, Independent Students’ Association, the Conference of Rectors, Socialist Union of the Polish Students, Independent Self-govering Trade Union Solidarity, the Senate of the institution and other organization
